If I Let It Bother Me....

If i listen to what you say about me,
I would not of done amazing
Things in my life,or meet
Some truly special people.
I appreciate help and advice
But not interference or negativity.

You have a right of free speech,
To say how you feel,but your
Painful, judgmental words,can
Take years to heal.

All I ask is you be honest, but kind
Don't follow me as if i were fair game,
I'm human like you, and my passion's
Are work, family and  do what I want
With the money i Earn.

Is that so much to ask for,do you not
Feel guilt or shame, how you constantly
scourge at my life,how can I be 'normal'
And free, with you always kicking me.
