Parsing Through
By Ewan

So reading is the new slow eating
online-wise (only a fool would believe it)
is just the thing to escape wired lives
to keep people from the real
on the left side of the brain
which we put to creative
use in defiance of modernity's
place of importance in our lives
looking to usurp the
right to think independently
to the end of our lifetime
of a sentence.
Footnote:
David Mickes Professor of English at the University of Houston says studies 'have shown that when we read online text we do not read all of it, parsing only the left-side of the column.'
