Inspired by a typo!

God’s will of goodwill to all on earth
– a baby divine and precious;
from heaven a Rescuer coming forth,
but Herod, the King, was viscous,
and leaders resented His words of truth,
and many were bitter, jealous,
now few today give thought to the worth –
no care, or sceptical, cautious.
Unique and supernatural birth
– a God who really can love us?!
God’s will of goodwill to all who’ll call
– “goodwill will you instil in us!”
Goodwill from Him for all who fall
– remembered at Christmas.

[IP: ‘Godwill to all’, but I think it’s meant to be ‘Goodwill to all’!]
