New year - inevitably.
New house - bigger, preferably!
New baby - follows proverbially.
New expenses - horrifically!
New job - impossibility?
New worries - unavoidably!
New country - best chance arguably?
Gran crying uncontrollably
So It all comes down to family.
Dare we?

Oooh, there's a tricky one.  It is a long way to visit, so I sympathise with Gran.  On the other hand it is, as you say, all about risk.

Still far though! Have you been watching the heart-searchings and the attempts at weighing up their pros and cons of those thinking they may take the plunge? Sometimes it's been on when I'm ironing! I think you would need some strong reasons to do so. Rhiannon

I loved the poem and for some reason I started to think about the potential travellers to Mars in a few decades...a one way trip I'm told.    Wonder what poems they might pen?
