Rainbow's End

RAINBOW’S END
I called my girl from Rainbow’s End.
She chewed me out for the time I’d spent.
Told me not to waste my life
Wishing on, wishing on a rainbow.
I wished her well and I said goodbye
Wiped a tear back from my eye
I’m usually such a happy guy
Wishing on, wishing on a rainbow.
Time passed. I found another friend
Who’d run with me to rainbow's end.
And knows of all the joy that we can find
Wishing on, wishing on a rainbow.
Rainbows come and rainbows go.
If they’re real I’ll never know.
But I’m a lucky so and so
Still wishing, wishing on a rainbow.
I don’t mind the sunshine but blessed is the rain.
I’ll be at the window searching for rainbows again
Still wishing, wishing on a rainbow.
Still wishing, wishing on a rainbow.
