The Truth in the Sky

I know that my mind is too young.

Trust me, I know that this is true.

I also see that where the stars have hung,

that there is yet another truth.

I believe in what has yet to come.

I can dream of a better future.

If you listen, you can hear heavens drums,

then you will know the truth.

The truth in the sky,

is a truth that I believe in.

The truth inside my mind,

that tells me I have sinned.

It’s the truth that tells me,

that I am doing wrong.

It screams and yells at me,

that I need to be strong.

I believe in this amazing truth

and I believe in what it does.

We are merely the roots,

in this truth that loves.

The truth in the sky,

will never die.
