Very neat and tidy, to the point and clean to read. I must look into this haiku, I bet it takes a lot longer than one might imagine.

I hadn't ever tried either the haiku or tanka, but surprised myself, after the Poetry Monthly pompt came out, by finding first some thoughts on winter coming into the form of the haiku, and then this idea of using the poppy for a five-lined tanka that might work. They are so brief and have to be concise, so can be very effective sometimes I guess. Rhiannon
