Hanging in the air

By Parson Thru

Let these words
hang in the air

Today I passed the field
where the rainbow
touched the ground

Full solid with colour
it lived
between the road
and the trees

To the poor man
who stood in the lay-by
aiming his phone

   Some things
   cannot be held
   in the hand
