October sun

Washed by October sun
the wedding’s aftermath
litters the greenhouse floor
The only visitors are wasps
searching out the hapless
among scattered webs
If those wasps only knew
The rumble this morning
is the dryer’s endless turning
in the garage
Or the uninvited din
of killer jets overhead
Americans, I guess, practicing
for Xi Jinping or Putin
or some other Armageddon
known only to themselves
If you’re going to stall
or flame-out, fellas
do it someplace else

that's a great comparison of
that's a great comparison of two scary flying things, wasps and fighter jets, both uninvited, both we don't know their motives. But one might give you a sting which lasts a couple of days, if you threaten it, the other might bring armageddon without you doing anything at all
this greenhouse, it is propagating wonderful poems!
hope you are well
