Iron butterfly

I once beheld your splendid wings
Your life was full
Found on the wing
Unfettered travel
You zinged
Whist all the creatures sing
Now you wings feel the heavy iron
From the dark furnace of your making
You are held captive by form
If you could return to the pupa to be reborn
Oh what burdens would be lifted
You would once again choose the sky
For the ground is hollow
And does not retain the songs of joyful youth
Only jarring sounds of predators
Come to devour
They haunt your mind at every hour
A mind in need of rest
And kinship
Pressure in the deep earth forms
Diamonds
Such diamonds have you lost
Not diamonds
But souls of familiar love
But ever earth reforms
As the hallow earth is only the surface
Head for the sky's again
Their is the place to fly
Their is the place
When the time comes to died
In reach of heaven
For heaven is just a dream
But dreams build a world eternal
Where all your diamonds are to be found a new they never left you
Fly bird
And sing the song of my soul
A soul which has died and been
Reborn
Into the great conference of being
Where all the fugue turns to a chorus
