In a pecan leather jacket
and rose-hip cowboy boots -
Barry flew first class to Baltimore
to see a man about a horse.
He made five million dollars -
a train of whispering friends.
He fell in love in Jacksonville -
on a peppermint fragranced bed.
Ten years later he crept back home
to his Mother in St Johns Wood.
And sometimes when he drinks to sleep -
he screams the murders in the mud.

Loved this, ralph. I found myself singing it. Don't know if that was your intention, but it worked for me. Think i might mess around with it on the guitar when I get home. (I have one of those low-end guitar. it only ever plays the same three chords.) Ha. Cheers.

Anyway, it's great, and as Rich said, its rhythm makes it very musical and I look forward to hearing it in song! This is our Pick of the Day. Please share on Facebook and Twitter.
