Civilization is the principle and the ideal

Civilization which tends toward pacification is the needful ideal we must pursue. Regarding romance, let's say this; Let people live their lives and talk and shop; and choose their own partners. It's not allowed to turn this into a war of violence. That's not civilized. And let's not fence people in or out; classify people so strictly; we should let human phenomena transpire and search it for value. What bears fruit can be replicated year after year; That which does not will pass like an ill fashion. Civilization and pacification is the object of our noble crusade. Regarding morals, I'd say we should emulate many aspects of the Roman empire: including their proud and adventurous romances and twists; their liberated and liberating deities; their paid taxes and good roads; their orderly phalanx military approach: so scientific. Rome is a model of the civilization we should pursue.
