A Writers Prayer
By Paul McCann .
.
Thank you Lord for the gift to compose words and music
and the inspirations that I write .
.
I have dedicated my life to this
and I hope my efforts are pleasing in your sight .
.
For many years I have tried to share my works
and continue to work at this day and night .
.
Spirit filled I have no room for negativity
for there is only positive light .
.
Lord there are many who do not understand
or support what I do . I was born to write .
.
You have always been there
and that’s what makes everything right .
Lord never be far from my sight.

These are beautiful lyrics Paul!
These are beautiful lyrics Paul! Can you play music? Instruments piano, guitar, harmonica and which? The idea of a one man band always fascinated me, cymbels drums too, like in "Mary Poppins" this guy is a one man band. Although usually I think they come out just a noise.
I think I could write some lyrics myself but not music although I love listening to good music. Bob Dylan, the Doors, Van Morrison, Elvis, Janis Joplin, Joan Baez, Suzi Quattro, Joan Jett. It says a lot about you what music you like.
Most of us pray very well when we have to.
Keep well! Tom Brown

It's Tom Brown not JP!
It's Tom Brown not JP! Don't worry I get confused myself sometimes! Great to hear you are a musician, I thought later of Bob Dylan I have some live shows of his on DVD. He does the harmonica and guitar at the same time and both brilliant as ever, really very impressive. Not really a showman the music speaks for itself. But as allways the old stuff is best. What a guy.
Cheers Paul! Tom Brown
