Heaven high
She rules the sky
The Cosmos bends the knee
Astride eternity
There at creation’s birth
Goddess of eternity
Others mused
Deliberated their place
The tragedies of time
Histories yet unfolded
Unborn lovers could not dream
Not one dance to celebrate
Or single poem uttered
Until she fired the gun
The other muses
Had a race to run.
