It's Sunday

it's Sunday

I'm sitting here

kick my shoes off 

feel the breeze

on my feet 

oh I am sitting here 

daydreaming away 

watching the cloud go by

i can hear a buzz 

of a bee

flying around me 

yep its Sunday 

and if I close my eyes

I can escape 

to a far-off place 

with lots of peace and space

This is the one day 

i can let go 

Monday will soon 

be around again 

and the week 

will start all over again 

but for now, i just lay back 

watch the cloud go by

and wonder who else 

right now is are looking at them 

sail on by
