Different.

This week I saw something different; I hadn’t ever seen this before.
We have six cats. We have a man near to us, he has pigeons. About once a month, one of our cats bring one of his pigeon, and eat it on our back door step. I wish I could say to them, “Please don’t, they belong to the man a few doors down, they are his pets.” But I’m unable to do that.
This week I saw a pigeon on our back door step and it was dyed pink! It wasn’t pink all over but 70% of it was pink. There can’t be many pink pigeons flying around.
I took a picture and showed my Manager at work, he googled it, but found nothing. Later I sent the same photo to Paul.
When I got home from work, I asked Paul, “What do you think? Why is it dyed pink? Do you think it belongs to the man a few doors from us?” I went on, “Maybe he is taking drastic action, and putting a special dye on his birds, so that if he sees a predator with pink lips, he will know that is the culprit that has been stealing his birds!”
Paul said, “No, it is not that, let me Google it.” He did, and then it said, “Birds are painted pink, because of gender reveal, and they are bred for this special event, or for things like that, and they are not use to outside.” He also said, “Because they are pink, they don’t blend in and they are easy to be picked off by cats!”
Paul also said, “Some weddings have these pigeons, where at the end they are released, and some funerals, and other celebrations, but the funerals they are not pink.”
This pigeon, had a sad ending, but it didn’t die in vain, he was eaten by our cat, bar one wing.
