Treats.

For me, going to the chiropodist is a yearly treat. I remember when I first went, it was an eyewatering £32, that was about five years ago. I only go to the same person, and the Manager of the practrice. She is fantastic, that is the only pampering session that I love and enjoy. I don't like massages ,or anything like that, each to his own, there is nothing wrong with that.
Before I went to the Chiropodist, my Husband Paul would cut my toe nails, he would do it in about five minutes. When I go to have my nails done, she listens to me heartbeat, with gel through my feet, she has all the right clippers, she can look and see if there are any health issues, she uses sprays, and creams, her beautiful treatment, is second to none. For £32 it is more than worth it for the money, and for the twenty minutes I am with her.
She must meet all kinds of people with all kinds of feet, the good the bad and the ugly! She is always pleased with my feet, and I with handing over my hard earned cash.
I happen to walk past her store this week, and now she is charging £38! Fair play to her, she has to earn a living. At almost £40 I can't justify paying that much to have my toe nails cut. Most of her regular customers, she sees every six weeks.
it looks like it is back to basics, the lovely Paul. I will see next year, for my birthday, as I also get birthday money.
