Poem for August 6th

Open skies are deceptive,
Their bland innocence hides
The falling speck; becoming
A scar decades raw.
Under the same sky
A new world slumbers,
Blooms,fearful in their
symmetry
Dance in the breeze,
Flames too are symmetrical,
Dance and are ever
Egalitarian in their cruelty,
Great thinkers will say,
Here man became
Moloch;
Others dilute their brilliance
explaining
The madness of nations.
Innocent and guilty alike
Sleep on; ignorant,
As a word darkened by
wonders
Howls its birth agonies

Deeper than first meets the
Deeper than first meets the eye a flames, cruelty, Moloch... The August sky somehow connects all the events beneath.
i wonder if rather than 'A new world slumbers, Blooms, fearful in their symmetry...' It could be - New worlds slumber... , as you have 'in their symmetry... ' and what follows seems to apply to the plural.
Interesting and fitting poem.
