I am Black
I can't breathe
As my Black brothers and sisters
Take their last breath
I am left in shock
I am Black
I can't breathe
Our necks are already heavy
We are forced to deal with mordernized slavery
And institutional racism
I am Black
I can't breathe
We do not need
Racist stepping on our necks
And killing us
I am Black
I can't breathe
Despite our leaders and forefathers
Who Fought the good fight
We are still treated as second class citizens
In our own country
I am Black
I can't breathe
When will the senseless killing
Of my Black brothers and sisters stop
I am Black
I can't breathe
What I fear most is that
My life will cut short before
I reach my destination
I am Black
I can't breathe

still needs to be said
"I can't breathe" I got a chill when I realised what you are saying.
Excellent, these things still need to be said even today. Good poem, Bob Dylan wrote some brilliant songs like the times are changing, and how many times, the answer is blowing in the wind. Just mentioned for interest sake of course there are great many such songs.
I am one of your white brothers, or is it brown?
Hamba gachle! Go well! Nolan &
