For my valentine

When I was asked to recollect,
what it was that warranted,
the red red roses and the blue blue violets.
I thought of you my love and all your talents.
For though our marriage has been turbulent
through it all you have stood firm and tall
despite it all,
you never let us fall.
The summer breeze is reminiscent of your touch,
The winter moon, the morning hush.
The thought of your hand in mine lights up the gloom.
My love it is to you, for you that the sun sets with a pinkish hue
and rises unassumingly in a stunning blue.
The swaying leaves of the green green tress,
tease me to memory of that billowing personality.
Like the wind you carried me, through all the seasons majestically.
You complimented my autumn bloom and embraced my spring croon.
Celebrating you, could never come too soon.
