What shall I do for a sky?

Be bold, be blunt
Be generous with the secrets untold
Hold onto that light in which you see
It is so convenient to blind oneself so blatantly
Be truthful, be kind
Utter it in the depths of the night
At the same level, the same height
Who can be wrong proven when all is so right
Lay with me once more
In the unknown land of all pillows
Scented sheets
Wasted alcohol, broken bottles, uneven beats
Hear me, more than hearing
See me, more than sight
Feel me more than that
And move me past all this…senseless art
For the world is all colour
And my days are dreams
The water is pure and the plants are immortal beings
It’s all butterflies and there is sweetness in all things.
Be fair in your might
Don’t let me linger in this wonderful plight
Nor cut me off and forsake me to bleakness
Without this madness, the world would become still and meaningless
Without your hand to feel I could not imagine your caress
Without your voice,
Without your face
I would not know who to forsake
The pink of the clouds be damned
If it cannot be compared to something greater, or less
You are the reference point even in the pointlessness
The shadow beyond the doubt
The sky itself on a good day and a speck of dust the next
So today you may be gone
But what shall I do for a sky should you never return?
