London, oh London,
such a fashionable mish-mash
or as some people criticise
a place of culture clash.
Oh London, dirty London
you’re a people watching frenzy
I often find I tumble off
your merry-go-round of trendy.
The competition, the constant,
the rapidity, the buzz:
I think I love this London,
there’s a magic that it does.
I can’t get bored of London:
the crowds, the grime, the show.
Although I feel so hectic,
I can’t think where else I’d go.
There’s so much fibre for my pen
so much protein for my mind,
if I look hard enough in London
there’s always sustenance to find.
London, oh London
though you got me into debt,
thankyou, oh London
I’m so glad that we met.

Very funny ending! Love the
Very funny ending!
Love the mataphorical,
'There’s so much fibre for my pen
so much protein for my mind,
if I look hard enough in London
there’s always sustenance to find.'
I think - a fitting tribute! (from a country bumpkin)!
