I feel I'm consumed by you;
Each free moment of the day,
I'm harassed with such longing,
That I wish would go away.

You melt me like caramel,
With sweetness I'd love to taste.
Why can't I feel you round me,
Like a nut chocolate encased.

Can you even understand,
How important you've become,
In this little world of mine,
That knows you'll never succumb.

I am so consumed by you,
Though it may be a mistake,
It must be better for me,
Than consuming too much cake.
