LOVE BUG

I've got the love bug.
There seems to be no cure.
It flows throughout my body,
And seeps out through each pore.

No medication can do anything,
For the damage has already started, see.
I'm too overcome, too overpowered,
It's got to the very heart of me.

One time I'll feel all hot and flushed,
Another I'll feel weak and emotional.
The love bug's too strong, it's just too much.
Try as I might, I can't fight it at all.

I do not know if it will ever go away,
I've tried not to let it get the better of me.
It seems stronger today than it did yesterday,
And I'm giving up the fight, 'cause it just won't let me be.

No, nothing seems to cure it.
It's determined, a go-getter.
But I know that you sure as hell,
Could make me feel much better.
