QUESTION ABOUT WHAT?

She beamed at Tom, "The answer's yes."
Tom looked puzzled. "It's yes? To what?"
She laughed, "What you asked me last night.
Don't tell me now that you've forgot!"

Tom felt very uncomfortable,
"I'm sorry, but do I know you?"
The woman sighed, "Come on, darling,
You know full flipping well you do."

She stared at him. Tom scratched his head,
And laughed a little nervously,
"I'm afraid I can't remember,
I think you'll have to remind me."

She gasped and sniffed, "I'm so hurt now,
You know you've hurt me really bad."
She rushed off. A man said to Tom,
"Don't mind her, she's just barking mad."

"She is?" said Tom. "How do you know?"
"I found it out some time ago.
I've lost count of each silly time,
I've heard her try to use that line."

"But why?" said Tom, "What's wrong with her?
So clearly, she just bare-faced lied?"
The man nodded, "She's just a case;
Eager to be anyone's bride."
