She is dressed up; just about,
With her pouting, crimson lips.
She has ruby, deadly 'claws',
On her 'playful' fingertips.
She's been called cheap in her time,
Among other, more harsh names.
She fell in love long ago,
But her partner played mind games.
She got so hurt in the past,
Told herself; never again.
So she keeps 'getting around',
Like a woman without shame.
But deep down, she cries for love;
From someone caring and true.
For such a scarlet woman,
She is so painfully blue.
