SYMPATHETIC SPIDER

I’m a sympathetic spider.
I’ll just rest on a random leaf,
As others take pride in their webs,
And stare at me in disbelief.
I’m a sympathising spider.
As I see wasps or little flies,
Go straight into their sticky doom,
I can’t believe my many eyes.
I’m a spider of sympathy.
When I see a neighbour’s fresh web,
I’ll kick bits of dirt into it,
So insects see danger ahead.
I’m a thoughtful, tidy spider.
It isn’t in me to be mean.
I eat things that died naturally;
It keeps the garden nice and clean.

Hi alp,
what a brilliant poem, now if only all spiders were
like yours in the poem, wouldn't life be great?
Thanks for sharing.
Jenny.
