THE WATER BABY CHAPTER TWELVE

I woke up with a jolt. It was all a dream. I looked around me but I was still in the Barren Universe. Would I ever get out? I was starting to feel homesick. I got up and started to walk around again, and I saw a figure. This time, I pinched myself to make sure it was not a dream.
"Ow!" I uttered aloud. No, it wasn't a dream, it was real.
"No, Jackie, you are not dreaming," the figure said.
"Huh? Why'd you call me Jackie?"
"Because you are the spirit of the recently deceased Sara Hughes. The spirit was always called Jackie."
"But who are you?"
"I am the Water Baby."
"You've returned?"
"Yes, and I am here to tell you that you are in Heaven."
"Heaven? But I thought that Heaven was filled with clouds and angels?"
"What you are forgetting, Jackie, is that is the stereotypical view of Heaven. Everyone has their own view of Heaven. What was your idea of Heaven"
I thought for a minute. "A place where I could be on my own to listen to my favourite bands and people will leave me alone."
"Of course." He snapped his fingers. I heard the latest FallOut Boy song, Dance Dance, playing somewhere, even though I didn't know where. I turned to the Water Baby, but he'd disappeared.
"Hello?" I yelled out. "I'd like to go home! I don't like it here! I need to get home, do you hear me?"
He heard. But he ignored.
I started to run. I didn't know where, but I was certain I would find somewhere soon.
I wasn't entirely wrong.
After a few minutes of running, I saw a bit of colour in the distance; so I ran towards it. It was green, the colour of orange. But it didn't matter how fast I ran, the thing wouldn't get closer, it seemed to be getting further away the faster I ran towards it. And then everything went black, like the middle of the night. I wondered what was going on. Surely nothing bad? Then, suddenly as it went black, it suddenly became light again.
Instead of being totally white, I seemed to be surrounded by posters of my favourite bands, like My Chemical Romance, Aiden and Fallout Boy. It was like being back in my bedroom. To top it off, I could hear a track by Aiden - I couldn't tell which one - playing somewhere in the background.
The Water Baby appeared again. "Well, how do you like it, Jackie? Is it Heavenv yet?"
"No!" I screamed. "My idea of Heaven is going back home!"
"Easily arranged." And suddenly, I was in my bedroom.
It felt strange being in my bedroom. Even though everything looked familiar, it felt like I'd been away for years. I looked up at all my posters, I lay down on my bed, I thumbed through my books. I couldn't believe it! Everything was the same. He had brought me home!
"Not quite home, I'm afraid." I whipped around. He was right behind me.
"What are you still doing here?" I demanded.
"I brought you here, now I must guard you."
"Guard me? From what?"
"From running through any Anomalies and causing any more Universal Breeding."
"What do you mean, any more Universal Breeding?"
"You let a t-rex through to another Universe. You became a Universal Criminal. Everyone tracked you down and exorcised you. That is why you were sent to Heaven."
I was shocked. He seemed to read my mind, because he next said: "Yes, Jackie, that wasn't a dream, it was real."
"I would've rememberd something like that."
"Then let me remind you."
The Water Baby snapped his fingers, and a bright, white light appeared...
