Million Dollar Baby

She’s a million dollar baby
Sweetness oozing from her pores
Mercy her daily clothing
Beauty flows from her core.
She’s a million dollar angel
Love light glows in her eyes.
She shines with her Daddy’s kindness
She turns heads and draws men's sighs.
Though adored for all that she is
Her brightness is but an art
For inside her she is crying
‘Cos she’s carrying a broken heart.
She hides her secret sorrow
Buries herself in blame
There are tears beneath her laughter
For she’s crushed by guilt and shame.
She's forgotten that she’s died for
That for her I’ve given my all
How I’d taken up her burdens
So she’d walk ten feet tall
Look up! My million dollar honey
Smile again that million dollar smile
Have my million hugs and kisses
Let me rock you for a good long while.
Know child that you’re worth a million
For you I have the best intent
I’ve died a million deaths for you
I’m your Saviour who’s Heaven sent.
She’s my million dollar baby
Been loved like that since birth
Sad she doesn’t really know it
'Cos she doesn’t really know her worth.
