Rocky and the other friends were playing hide and seek in the forest. Jill went hiding for fun in a faraway jungle, giggling, but little did she know that her friends wouldn’t be able to track her. After Rocky finished counting to 10, he went to look for his other friends and found them all easily but couldn’t find Jill anywhere. They kept tracking high and low in search of her and that’s when they realised she was lost, which made everyone apart from Rocky panic. Rocky had to calm them down.
“Cool down, guys! I can understand how you feel but panicking doesn’t help. We got to try different routes to go and get her back. That’s our mission.”
Haza said, “He’s right, there’s no use panicking. We might as well follow his lead.”
Everyone else agreed and followed.
When nobody came looking for Jill, she realised she was lost. She panicked too.
They went looking through the forest searching behind trees, bushes, leaves but no sight of her. Rocky came up with a plan which he hoped everyone would agree with.
“OK folks, this is what we’ll do, we’ll split and go to different parts of the jungle and go through any obstacles. Come what may, we’ll find Jill.”
They stared at him for a little while then burst out with laughter which made Rocky curious.
“What’s funny about my plan?”
Haza said, “Come on, Rocky, let’s be sensible. We might end up losing each other. We’re much better keeping together.”
Rocky said, “Trust me, I know what I’m doing. You all have to do this.”
The animals, realising that they had no choice, did as he said. They shouted Jill’s name and kept looking.
Haza was searching round when he heard his name being called. It was Jill! Haza now understood Rocky’s plan.
“Rocky, you’re a genius. You suggested to split ourselves because if we kept on looking together, the chances could be that it would take all day to find Jill. Or we might have possibly never found her because we weren’t going to the places she was more likely to be. Thank you.”
Rocky smiled. “Don’t mention it, guys.”
Jill was satisfied. “Guys, I’m so glad you all found me because I too was getting worried and frightened trying to look for you.”
They gave one great big group hug.
