Just wanted the attention

How did she get here,
lying pale on the floor
with blood all down her arm
which has merged with the puddle
on the floor to create a pool
of blood, all of her freinds
gathered around.

Her eyes wide
and her fingers curled
around a picture,
a picture of her family,
they kicked her and beat her
and threw her out on the street,
spat in her face and neglected her.

So if you were thinking
that she just wanted the attention,
think about her past
before you judge her.
