Particles

Tiny,
microscopic things,
carry heat, light
and many other sources of energy,
in fact every source of energy,
without particles there is nothing,
no me, no you and none of the things
we see or do, so in fact the following is true,
we all have particles to thank
for any fluid we ever drank,
for any substance we ever ate
for every meal on our plate,
for the mid morning light
and every ounce of might.
