It was a beautiful night
as we basked in the moonlight,
we danced across the sand
to our favorite love song,
the way your hair looked
lit by the moons luminessence
was a sight i shall never forgot,
you were so gracefull,
gliding across the sand,
and when finally you
came to rest, here in my arms,
i held you close
and moved my cheek to yours,
and in those eyes in which i looked
i saw something i didn't expect to see,
i knew then that with you, i wanted
to be.
