I give you my heart,
the centre piece to my body,
without which
nothing else could function,
I give you my hand,
a firm grip to hold you
in the bad times,
a soft touch to bond
with you in the good times,
I give you my ears,
things that will listen
to everything you tell them
whether whispered or cried,
I give you my eyes,
in the hope you will see
how beautiful you are to me,
I give you my lips,
to utter soft words
to comfort,
and give soft kisses
to please,
I give you my soul,
the very essence of me,
and ask you to look after it.
For you see it has been yours
for a long time now,
and shall remain yours
for aslong as you want it.

I need nothing back,
because when you love someone
you give them all you are,
