A bond so strong
I believed it un-breakable,
hard as diamond
and as enternal as time,
but our gem became worn
and time stopped
and all the we had
left in a punch in the chest,
a winding blow leaving me
breathless and weak,
it was like I had been stabbed
by and icicle and my heart froze.

and you didn't let me know,
have you forgotten all we shared
or the way that I cared.
