I live in a perfect world.

I live in a perfect world.
Smiling faces,
washed dogs and hand shakes.
In my house
I am surrounded by clean,
white walls.
Pristine cream,
they called it.
The grass is always
neatly sliced and green,
on our side.
Where I live, the rats
have all been caught in traps.
But somehow,
I get the feeling of something else.
Across seas, behind faces.
We are the human species,
our brothers and sisters
baboons and Nazis.
Darwinism,
an honest and shameful truth.
We are,
the children of the winners.
We are the privileged.
