blue crayons
on a paper sky
and morning glories,
gentle Blue
forget-me-knots
below the elder tree;
above in nest,
Robin's eggs
are Blue;
twilight,
the late evening sky;
the sky is
Blue
and winter blue,
long shadows
icy cold...
so many lovely things
are Blue
