To bring you down

It’s a feeling likened to the crushing anxiety experienced only when a child is born
Or when a mother is fallen,
That child is left to fend alone.
Greater depth, I have not known
A pain, granted, I cannot call my own

Life experienced and then pain forgotten in an instance.
