Eroe, Did you laugh or did you cry?

When you learnt that happiness was around the corner
Tell me
Did you laugh?
Or did you cry?
When the squall had gripped your people
I saw your shadowed brow rise
Yet when the gale swept the land
Tempests raging
You saw it as a prize
You took pleasure in the adventures tied with suffering
These pilgrims
Oxymoronic
Travel hand in hand
Towards vast lands of peace and harmony
Your legacy not left to stand
En route to where your need is discarded
Where your sheep have chosen to go
Where leadership is democracy
Your strength regarded the bunging of the flow
You would become a peasant among the aristocrats
Who would recall these feats of yours that made you significant?
A misunderstood palace cat
The parlour joke regardless of your innocence
Brightness is around the corner
Of all your acts the end result
Of all your monumental suffering
-The peach’s hardened pulp
And now questions that need answering
Terrorize my quizzing mind
Please answer with all enterprise
Don’t feel the need to draw back
Be kind
Maestro, when you learnt happiness was around the corner
When you learnt she’d reared her radiant head
Did you choose you’d incline your temple to her harsh misgiving?
Or did you choose that you shall fight and make treachery your bed?
