Always Gibbon
I know a lass called Gibbon
And it seems she's always giving
From morn till night
She's never tight
How does she make a living?
Her thoughts seem deep
And it may take quite a while
To suss her inner meaning,
or if she's only teasing.
Just what's beneath that knowing smile?
She never seems to lose her rag.
She draws from an endless well,
her patience and her calm forgiving.
Chantelle once more decides to push her,
And if Lyn is angry, you could never tell.
She has an alphabet of expressions,
But 'eee do you know!' usually comes out first.
Especially when the many staff
Have raided her teabag store once more,
to brew for one and all and slake an endless thirst.
Friday is not a good day to stare deep into her eyes,
if you have the slightest touch of conscience.
That ever flowing milk of human kindness
On this day you must reimburse.
To dodge her wrath unseen, I recommend compliance.
