This place used to be so much bigger
Its expanse use to boggle the mind,
Its vast corridors used to put into perspective the myths and legends that I cherished as a child
But now, in the twilight of my years, I see that it was actually quite confining in reality.
How was I to understand, I was so young, and I was so at home.
Because, as a child, you stretch the walls with your legends and myths
Hercules bore the weight of homely constriction, and Zues struck down any thought of poverty
because, as a child, I lived with magic and myth.
Now, as I am shortly to be a blip in history, I have found my way home to all those
heroes that raised me, and I am again a child.
