J: 10 reasons

Ten reasons not to go on the french exchange:
1. There are no fit guys- and if they are then they are either gay or
they fancy someone else.
2. Plane food (I'll say no more)
3. What if something terrible happens- like you forget your deodorant,
get your period, or aren't allowed to use the internet!
4. Tu doit parler francais.
5. When you get back your French teacher will expect you to be word
perfect.
6. You have to write a journal...but you're not allowed to write it in
English (if you get my drift)
7. There might be a german exchange student to (and, silly you: you
gave up german last year)
8. Your french family might be having their whole house entirely
re-decorated, thus forcing you to share a room with your partner...and
her german exchange student.
9. Your partner might have an older sister who speaks to you constantly
in English. We're here to learn (see no. 4)
10. Getting up at 3:00AM and going down the stairs in the pitch black
in order to get to the one working bathroom in the house (see no. 7) is
not the most sensible (or fun) thing to do.
