J: diary, 21 March

Feeling a bit sad today. Think it comes from spending too much time
on my own and a let down after yesterday.

Yesterday was glorious sunshine and M and D came to visit for the day.
We went out for a walk and a picnic and all was thoroughly
enjoyable.

Today I've been trying to keep out of the house most of the day,
killing time. Tried on about five pairs of trousers in various shops
but none of them fitted properly and most were far too expensive so I
got completely fed up with that.

Met R at the hotel at lunchtime to look at the reception rooms again.
Getting bored of planning the wedding and there's still ages to go.
Just want to get on with it now instead of going round and round in
circles discussing the options.

Going to see J and S tomorrow. The weather forecast for the weekend is
nice.

The garden is looking spring-like with a red camelia in bloom now. It's
on the opposite side from the daffodils. All our daffodils are
completely yellow. I wonder if we should get some of the ones with
orange centres for next year. I quite like those.
