Kissing The Air

You blew a kiss from the train,
the kiss came down like falling rain.
It landed softly on my lips,
I touched my mouth with finger tips
that trembled with my pain.
You left me there without care
to face my future in despair.
Time stretched out before me
alone, with no one to adore me,
life seemed so unfair.
In time I understood that kiss,
should have walked away, let it miss.
Ignoring all your histrionics
got on with life, thinking it comic
kissing the air, like this... Mmmmmmwa xxx
