I used to have a locked box
into which I tipped all pain
but when I opened it to add
it all leaked out again.
So now it's filled with giggles
some smiles and a laugh or two
so when I pop this mortal coil
I'll leave the key for you
Then when I'm gone you can open it
and tip the contents out
and you will know quite clearly
what my life was all about
But for now the box stays firmly closed
it's secrets still are mine
and you are going to have to wait
until its dying time.
