Party Animals

The sun is shining from above,
People in the park feeding the doves,
The leaves are falling off the trees,
But what does it all mean to me,
Nothing really that's the truth,
Just letting myself a bit loose,
Foxes playing in the Autumn sunset,
Weasels going to lay down their bets,
Old Bertie Badger toddling off to the pub,
Where he'll meet his mate, Harry the Hog,
Chipmunk Chappers playing pool,
Beating poor old Simon Squirrel,
Tony the Toad stuffing his face,
Making a mess all over the place,
After a few hours the animals are drunk,
Except for the driver Sally the Skunk,
Goat Gruff Geoff asleep in his chair,
Call Tawny Taxis and ask for the Hare,
Jackdaw John sat on his perch,
Giving everyone an evil lurch,
Richy Rabbit calls time at the bar,
Glass collection time for Olivia Otter,
Everyone stumbles out of the door,
Home to the Woodlands for a little more,
Walking through the parks and it's now dark,
Hungry foxes give out a bark,
Wayward Squirrels high on speed,
Someone call the Polecat Police,
On to the coach and out of here,
Back to the Woodlands for some more beer,
The party continues into sunrise,
Then going to bed would be wise.
