Dear Mummy, Daddy and Jane,

The journey was very calm + I was practically the only one who did not
feel sick at some time. It is sunny, but very cold due to strong winds.
Today it is clearing up and becoming much hotter, and at the moment I
am lying in the sand dunes having just changed into my bikini. I have
not been swimming yet, because the sea is too cold, there are too many
jelly fish and the waves are very large due to the wind. However, in a
few minutes, when the sun comes back, I might take the plunge.
Yesterday Hele and I made (or rather tried to make) a sports car in the
sand. It was just a small dip in the sand by the following morning
though.

As I haven't finished your postcard yet I thought that I'd tell you
another bit of exciting news. Yesterday Hele accidently smashed a plate
and it cut her foot badly. She went to hospital + had three stitches
but now she can't swim or play in the sand dunes til the stitches are
taken out on Mon. The weather is really nice now and I am getting
