Pippa
This ball of fun,
Bounces through our lives.
Leaving a chuckling trail
Of infectious smiles.
Don't stand too close
Or you'll catch her giggles.
It starts deep down in her shoes
Then bubbles out
In a gush of laughter.
Look close at this elfin child.
Gaze upon her tiny finger.
It's all conquering magic power
Will take your breath away.
Who'd believe that around
That tiny, little 'pinkie'
She could wrap her big strong daddy.
Tightly coiled,
This willing prisoner
Dotes upon his lovely daughter.
A tribute to an amazing little girl
