Deep inside my soul
A voice still whispers.
Charlotte waits with endless patience
For me to touch her thoughts.

Though I no longer teach her,
Her complex mind still confounds me.
I met her just the other day
And somewhere in her eyes,
A flash of recognition brightened up my life.

Since those early days of learning,
Charlotte has taught me much.
'Don't come with preconceptions'
And simply walk with me.
