Rose garden
The garden packed with scent and bloom
attracts some insects from the gloom,
they pollinate majestic flowers –
roses climbing wooden towers.
As perfect as a rose is there,
yellow petals, just stop and stare,
romancing all, is pure and good,
bees come from the back, deep wood.
Then perfect as a rose is now
luscious red still takes its bow,
pink also makes a play
for sunshine rays, at noon, today.
But lemon yellow really stays –
a favourite in the summer haze,
it sways so gentle in the breeze,
the selected flower of all our bees.
